My current series of paintings, which I call Contemporary Western Expressionism, are primarily animals of the the west, done in bold abstract brush strokes and bright colors.

I also paint a series of lone churches set in barren southwest backdrops in the same abstract style. I'm influenced by my exposure at an early age to the great outdoors and a love of the beautiful animals that inhabit it. The churches have been influenced by my love of the great southwest and all the wonderful two lane roads that I've driven over the years on my many road trip adventures.
