Earthy, progressive, and balanced in composition, Marie’s work is technical and exacting in nature.  She defines her style as Abstract Expressionism—each piece an emotional response to a life experience punctuated with color and multiple facets of depth and texture.  Her works embrace a full range of mixed media: acrylic paint and inks, hand painted papers, and found objects on canvas or board.  She continues to expand her pallet—and her experiences—through study, exhibition and extensive travel throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas.  Each adventure adds to the color of her life!
